 Grace Smith House Youth Education Trainings

Healthy Friendships: 30 – 60 minutes

  • Engaging and highly interactive presentation about making good decisions about friendships and the red flags of unhealthy friendships. Target audience: middle and high school level students
  • FREE program – our staff will work with you to set up the best model (assembly or session in phys ed/health class)

Bullying/Cyber Bullying – 30 – 60 minutes

  • Engaging and highly interactive presentation about tools when facing a bully and/or how to be a helpful bystander that witnesses bullying. Bystanders can be peers, service providers, teachers, staff, and administrators.
  • Target audience: A) middle and high school level students B) Direct service providers C) Teachers, school staff and administrators
  • FREE program – our staff will work with you to set up the best model (assembly, session in phys ed/health class, during work on-site training, or after work on-site training)

Teen Dating Violence – 30 – 60 minutes

  • Engaging and highly interactive presentation about the red flags of a harmful relationship. The impacts this relationship has on a person’s life, family, and community. Including a bystander approach for those who witness signs of a potentially dangerous relationship.
  • Target audience: A) high school and college level students B) Direct service providers C) Teachers, school staff and administrators
  • FREE program – our staff will work with you to set up the best model (assembly, session in phys ed/health class, during work on-site training, or after work on-site training)

Gender Roles – 30 – 60 minutes

  • Engaging and highly interactive presentation about the systemic and societal roots to gender stereotypes. Breaking down barriers, so that all genders feel comfortable in their own skin. Additionally, to allow all genders to understand the difficulties other genders face.
  • Target audience: A) high school and college level students B) Direct service providers C) Teachers, school staff and administrators
  • FREE program – our staff will work with you to set up the best model (assembly, session in phys ed/health class, during work on-site training, or after work on-site training)
