Becoming A Friends of Grace Smith House

Friends of Grace Smith House have provided thousands of dollars in support of the organization's mission over the years. Their goals are:

To sustain the mission of Grace Smith House; To provide financial support for all the organization's programs; To build a base of Friends throughout the Hudson Valley who have pledged to help end domestic violence in our community.

A few examples of what your contribution can do:

$5 enables a volunteer to transport a woman to court for a custody hearing; $44 feeds the 30 women and children in our shelters for a day (supplemented by all the food donations we can get); $130 supports for a week the work of our life skills counselor, who provides pre-employment training and prepares clients to support themselves and their children
