Women of Grace 2008

At this year's event, Grace Smith House recognized two 'Women of Grace' Award recipients: Jeannette Schlobach (posthumously) and Robin Trainor. Their dedication to the domestic violence cause over the years has provided us with an exemplary example of commitment that we can all use as a goal.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, the Staff, the Event Committee and especially the residents of Grace Smith House, we want to express our deepest gratitude for your support of our Third Annual 'Women of Grace' Event. Because of your generosity and participation in this event, Grace Smith House is able to remain secure in its mission of assisting victims and their children in living free from domestic violence.

Domestic violence is a very dangerous and overly prevalent reality in our local community and society at large. With your help, we are able to open the eyes of more people to the reality of domestic violence and, at the same time, allow victims to rest their heads more safely in the shelter of our 'House'. Our door is open. Your assistance helps keep that door open.
