Meet Tara:
This Beacon mom went the distance - 100 miles to be exact! - for domestic violence victims and survivors. Tara Simmons, who left an abusive relationship with help from Grace Smith House, ran from Albany to Beacon in October 2020 for Domestic Violence Awareness Month, raising money and awareness.  Learn more here.

Meet Julia:
Julia is a mom of two, Dutchess County local and domestic violence survivor. Follow her journey on “Survivor Stories,” a short documentary series from Grace Smith House.
