💜 LIGHT UP THE WALKWAY FOR MINDY 💜

A Memorial Walk & Domestic Violence Awareness Gathering

Join us on Sunday, October 11th at 7:00 PM on the Highland side of the Walkway Over the Hudson as we come together to honor Mindy and stand in solidarity with survivors and all those affected by domestic violence.
We invite everyone to wear purple and bring your purple lights — glow sticks will be available as well. 💜

Together, we’ll walk to the flagpole, where we’ll pause for a moment of silence for Mindy and all victims of
domestic violence.

This evening is about remembering Mindy for who she was, the people she loved, the lives she touched, and the
light she brought to others. It is also about bringing domestic violence into the light and reminding survivors that they are not alone, they are heard, and they are supported.

💜 This event is proudly sponsored by Roots & Resilience Wellness, a counseling practice in Marlboro that works
with victims and families who are survivors of domestic violence. We are incredibly grateful for their support and for the work they do within our community.

There will also be resource tables available throughout the evening, including Grace Smith House and other local organizations, providing information, resources, and support for individuals and families affected by domestic violence.
